The long-established Swedish confectionery company Aroma has acquired all shares in the competitor Dals Konfektyr. Aroma thus becomes Sweden's third largest manufacturer of confectionery with a leading position as a producer of loose sweets on the Swedish market.

With the acquisition, Aroma's turnover increases to over a quarter of a billion kroner per year and the number of employees to around 100 people.

"With the acquisition of Dals Konfektyr, our ambition is to become an even more efficient and better company

supplier of quality sweets for the various loose weight concepts, both in Sweden and abroad. At the same time, we continue to develop organic, vegan and more natural products with lower sugar content within our various product areas, says Olle Björkenström, CEO of Aroma."

"We are three owners who have run Dals Konfektyr for 25 years and it is really in safe hands

which we are now handing over the baton to Aroma as the new owner. With Aroma's focus on quality products and solid sales organization, they are absolutely the right buyer to take over and develop the factory in Bengtsfors, says Jörgen Johansson, CEO of Dals Konfektyr.
